When used as directed, Somadin poses no known negative health risks. Use caution when driving or operating heavy machinery until you become familiar with the effects of Somadin. When used with alcohol, the sedating effects of Somadin may be increased.
Pregnant or nursing women should not take Somadin without prior approval from a doctor. Do not exceed the maximum dosage of six capsules of Somadin within one day, as this may cause unwanted sedating effects.
Somadin is extremely safe when combined with most prescription or OTC medicines. However, before supplementing with Somadin, talk to your doctor if you are taking any pain medications, seizure medications, or anxiety medications.
Do not take Somadin if you are currently taking an MAOI or have taken an MAOI within the past two weeks.
